After delivery
You may return an unused kit within 30 days of delivery in its original shipping materials; return shipping fees may apply. Certified electrical components may be non-returnable once installed.
Sundrop Limited Warranty
Sundrop stands behind every kit we ship. Your Sundrop system is covered by the following warranties, each running from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
Frame, hinges & hardware — 5 years
Sundrop warrants the aluminum frame, folding mechanism, tilt legs, and mounting hardware against defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years under normal use.
Microinverter — 12 years
The microinverter is covered by the manufacturer’s limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for twelve (12) years. Sundrop will facilitate all covered inverter claims on your behalf.
Solar panels — 12-year product / 25-year performance
The solar panels are covered by a twelve (12) year product warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and a twenty-five (25) year performance warranty guaranteeing the panels will produce at least the manufacturer’s specified percentage of rated output over that period.
Cabling & connectors — 2 years
Cables, connectors, and accessories are warranted against defects for two (2) years.
How it works
If a defect covered by these warranties arises during the applicable period, Sundrop will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product or component at no charge, or coordinate a claim with the relevant component manufacturer. These warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.
What’s not covered
These warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, improper installation, unauthorized modification or repair, normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear that does not affect performance, or exposure to conditions beyond the product’s stated operating specifications.

Contact us at info@gosundrop.com with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue, and we’ll take it from there.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SUNDROP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THESE WARRANTIES GIVE YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
